It also taught about how to take care of equipment, setting up of Operation Theater, provide medication timely to patient and maintain records.Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing is an under graduate course of 4 years duration which focuses on the study of basic fundamentals of nursing whereas Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (Nursing) is a diploma course of 1 year duration which focuses on the study of health care of various individuals.ANM (Nursing) aspirants can work at Hospitals, Educational Institutes, and Medical Care Units as Home Care Nurse, Nursing tutor, ICU Nurse, Health Care Nurse, and Infection Control Nurse. GNM referred as General Nursing and Midwifery it deals with the education of nurses in general health care, nursing, and midwifery. A General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a diploma course of 3 and half year duration includes assessment of various needs of the people from their birth to death. They can put into effect their knowledge gained from the humanities, biological and behavioural sciences in their nursing career.
